Making A Difference In Someone’s Life – Independent Watkins Associate Melody Thacker

by Melody on September 17, 2006

I was just reflecting on how good it feels knowing I may have made a difference in someone’s life. I discovered some time ago that’s really what matters to me is serving and helping others. If I can do something to make someone’s life better it’s been a great day.

I suppose that’s one of the things that attracted me to Watkins. Our products and income opportunity can make a real difference in someone’s life. A few examples are; Watkins specialty food products can help a busy Mom get a nutritious and delicious meal on the table quickly and easily, a young couple can ease their financial burden by selling the products part time, and a bottle of liniment can bring relief for aching muscles.

There’s more to it than that though… it’s the happiness I hear in people voices when they find out I can help them.  The delight they express when they get to talk to a real person on the phone or a personal response to an e-mail. And the words, “Thank You!” that I hear every day means so very much to me.

Watkins has made a huge difference in my life and I’m grateful that I can pass that along to others by making a difference in their life.
