I took a week long vacation this month and thoroughly enjoyed the change of scenery, the relaxed pace, and the company of my family and friends. It looks like my timing was good for going on a road trip because the weather has turned nasty since I got home. I hate driving when the roads are icy, even though I have a four wheel drive vehicle.

First I spent a few days visiting a dear friend and her family. We’ve shared a very special friendship since high school, and on the rare occassions that we can get together or when ever we talk on the phone it’s like we were together just yesterday.

Next, I met some wonderful business women for lunch, we are all members of MomMasterminds so I knew them from that forum, however it was lovely to actually meet them in person. Here is a picture us real business women!

We talked, laughed and had a wonderful time through out our meal. Even though our businessess are all different we had lots in common. We didn’t just talk business either, we talked about everything that women usually talk about. When we meet people on the internet we are never really sure about them, are they real? Well, I can attest to the fact that these are real honest to goodness business women!

The final leg of my journey took me visit my oldest daughter, she is studing interior decorating and design and loving every minute of it. We haven’t had a chance to spent time together, just the two of us for quite some time so it was a real treat.
