So, how’s your summer going? I’ve been busy with my business and better yet I’ve also been spending a lot of quality time with my family. That’s what working at home is all about, isn’t it? I try to get together with my kids for morning coffee and lunch dates with them each individually, plus we enjoy family dinners, evenings and weekends together.

Hubby and I attended our first car show together. All I can say is wow, there are some beautiful and unique automobiles! I was quite surprised and (don’t tell hubby this) very impressed that so many people thought hubby has built an awesome ride for us too! It’s true, I’m a network marketing idol and had my 15 minutes (actually about 30, I ran over time) of fame last week on a conference call hosted by Kim Klaver. As a member of Network Marketing CentralI was honored to be asked to talk about what I do and how I run my Watkins business. Since according to Kim, I’m a rare breed, I’m a women internet marketer, (maybe she meant a successful one?) I was able to answer some questions about running a network marketing business online. The uniqueness of my company, Watkins has been in business for 139 years and pioneered direct selling. And the fact that I get asked for a brochure every day. I was a bit nervous but it turned out to be a lot of fun.

Right now I’m participating in the Thirty Day Challenge as I’m always on a quest to learn more, for myself and my team member training. Web 2.0 seems to be the latest and greatest and this is one of the focuses of the challenge. Here’s a great video on the subject!
