Giving Your Blog the Care And Attention it Deserves

Welcome! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Yesterday, my friend Alice the Internet Marketing Sweetie posted Three Thoughts on Giving Your Blog the Care & Attention it Deserves on her blog and I thought it might interest you. Here’s what she has to say and my thoughts as well:

If you are spreading yourself across a few different markets then yes…I see why you have more than one blog, but if your blogs essentially target the same market - CONSOLIDATE them.

This one pertains to me as I DO have too many blogs, however each one is for a different market so I can’t very well consolidate them but I can and will use her other ideas! If this is your problem then you might want to look at your blogs and see which ones you can join together.

Plan It! : Each week, set aside 20 minutes to brainstorm your blog topics.

I implemented this tip in January for this blog, now I just need to do it for all my other blogs. Here’s what I do here each Monday; I write one or two articles and have them ready to post, I pick my Wordless Wednesday photo, and write a post about it for the Tell me Thursday post. My twitter posts add daily content as well. Then it only takes a few minutes each day to post or do admin tasks.

If you’re having trouble keeping your blog fresh, find other bloggers in your market that might like to contribute original content, in return for a little self-promotion.

Again I’m following Alice’s great advise! You’ll find this article Tax Tips For Direct Sellers written by Kristine McKinley a CPA and I have more guest bloggers in the works. If you are interested in doing one or a series of guest posts here feel free to contact me so we can discuss it.

Another thing I suggest, if you are stuck on ideas for your blog content is to use quality PLR articles. I use and recommend All Private Label Content for a wide variety of topics and research packs to fit your needs.
